Local Community Organizing Strategy & Tactics for Everyone

every Thursday @7pm (virtual)

Information is power. Together, we can learn and build power.

We intentionally developed a drop-in training series where each session is designed as standalone session that that never depends upon building knowledge from previous sessions.

Training has been suspended until October.

Storytelling for Persuasion was a rich, resonant, and provocative training session. ...thanks to this training, I'm beginning to develop a toolkit to know how to tell my own story to forge political connection and create impact!

I learned something concrete with excellent examples. I look forward to the next training.

The training laid out what we needed to do to move towards our goal. We all need to help get us there.

The last day to register to vote in the General Election is October 7th, and early voting begins on the 9th. This training session will combine voter registration and ballot chase information. We need to reach and register as many blue-leaning households as possible in these last few days, and we need to be prepared to chase those ballots the moment they hit mailboxes.

Oct 3 - The Chase Begins

Ballots will begin arriving in mailboxes today, and we'll be ready for the chase. We'll teach you how to provide the right information and support to voters so that ballots can be returned as quickly as possible. Starting today, our focus will be reaching as many voters as possible because every ballot received early is one more voter the Dems can mark off their voter contact list, which frees us up to contact even more voters.

Oct 24 -

This will be a comprehensive training in getting out the vote. We'll explain how Get Out the Vote programs work, how to integrate vote tripling into your GOTV effects, and how to build GOTV shifts that are most effective. Then, we'll go over the voting options left in the final week of the election, how to assist voters in making a plan to vote, how to identify likely Dem voters in your personal contacts, where to get information to help voters fill out their ballots, and more. This training is jam packed with useful information.

Oct 31 -

The ignorance of one voter in a democracy impairs the security of all.
